Daniel Durning
Moderator Professor of Computer Graphics at LIU Daniel Durning is a NYC based artist, educator and media producer, with vast range of professional experiences in the field of digital media production. He has developed projects in, film, video, 3-D animation, and interactive media for prestigious clients including Disney, Sci-Fi Channel, American Heritage and IBM. As an artist he exhibits his digital art works internationally. He is a Professor of Computer Graphics at LIU and teaches subjects ranging from 3-D animation, broadcast motion graphics, digital video production, web design and fine arts courses at colleges in the NYC area including SVA, Pratt, LIU, & City Tech. He has extensive curatorial experience developing events such as The Red Hook International Film Festival and NYC SIGGRAPH, MetroCAF, The Metropolitan Area Computer Animation Festival. Additionally he regularly produces and hosts a popular internet radio show, “Art & Technology: Discussions with Visual and Sound Artists”, for Clocktower Radio, www.clocktower.org. He is the Creative Director at Fantastic Image and internet design and advertising firm. |
